Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Ingredients :
2 tbsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 ½ tbsp dried oregano
6 garlic cloves
2 tbsp olive oil
2 pounds of boneless pork cut into 2-inch chunks
⅓ cup orange juice
3 tbsp lime juice
wood or metal skewers
Instructions :
1) Garlic should be ground into a paste with salt, pepper, onion powder, and oregano in a mortar and pestle.
2) Add olive oil to the mixture to make it thicker.
3) Pork should be seasoned with the garlic paste in a big basin.
4) Add the lime and orange juices. Combine and toss to fully enclose the meat.
5)Refrigerate for 30 minutes overnight with a cover on.
6)When you’re ready to grill, skewer some pork slices. Approximately 5–8 bits per skewer.
7)The grill should be lightly oil-greased and heated to a medium-high temperature before use.
8) Place a space between each pork kabob and grill them for 12 to 15 minutes, turning them every three minutes or until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 145 degrees F.
9)Before serving, take the pork off the grill and let it rest for 2-3 minutes.
