ITALIAN-STYLE PARMESAN WINGS

Ingredients :
3 tbsp olive oil
1 cup white wine vinegar
2 tbsp minced fresh basil
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp minced fresh or dried thyme
1 tsp minced fresh oregano
1/2 tsp Freshly ground black Pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
2 pounds of chicken wings
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions :
1)Combine the basil, garlic, thyme, oregano, vinegar, olive oil, black Pepper, and red pepper flakes in a big bowl.
2)If preferred, save aside 1/4 cup of the marinade to brush on the wings just before serving. Then, add the remaining marinade to the chicken and toss to coat. For at least 30 minutes and up to 24 hours, place the covered container in the refrigerator.
3) Set the oven to 400°F.
4) On a baking sheet with a metal rack, arrange the marinated wings in a uniform layer.
5)The wings should be cooked thoroughly, crispy, and golden brown after 45 to 50 minutes in the oven.
6)If desired, brush on the reserved marinade. Serve immediately after adding freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
